Tree Diagrams

This week we have been learning to use tree diagrams to identify all possible outcomes.  This is part of probability.  Here is my tree diagram showing all sandwich possibilites from these few ingredients.  I found tree diagrams easy to make and you can eassily see all the outcomes.  They can take a long time though.

What's in the news this week?

Kia ora,  today we did current events quiz which we do every Thursday or friday.  One of the questions was about how the Ministry of  Conservation is doing a new trial  with their new project where they will release a big drone to try and track down the predators to try and keep control of pests in New Zealand. They are going to do 3 tests with it and hope it will be ready for full use in 2022.  It cost $790,000. My opinoin is that its not going to work and its going to end up like 1080 and its going to be the best what is your opinoin.

Stem and leaf grahps

This week for maths i have lernt all about stem and leaf grahps i thought they were hard but then i gave it a go and it was quite easy and now i know how to do eney stem and leaf grahps and now i think they are easy

Shake Out Day

On Thursday it was Shake Out day and we pretended that it was a earthquke and tsunami.  First we had to pretend there was an earthquake.  We went under the tables and covered our head.  Then we had to evacuate in case of a tsunami.  We went across the road and up the hill. I think that the drill went well and we will know what to do when it happens.

Persuavie writing

This week we have been doing persuavie writing to go over it because
we have a test next week. I think it was easy and I liked the task

I strongly believe that Dogs make better pets than cats

Firstly I think that dogs are better than cats because Dogs have a purpose such as pig dogs, hunting dogs, duck hunting dogs and deer hunting. Dogs can get you meat and food while cats only eat food, sleep and kill birds.  Also dogs can save you money by catching a pig or something else.

Secondly you can train your dog to be a guide dog which can protect you from getting robbed or other things which cats can't do.

Thirdly the only things cats are good for is killing mice and keeping you company. Dogs however can do both of those things as well as get you all this meat and food, they can save you money just going up in the bush for an 1 hour or 2 and they can help you get exercise.

This is why I strongly believe that dogs are better than cats.

Current Events: Area 51 raid

The area 51 raid is happening tomorrow. 2.125.206 millon people are going to the area 51 raid. People have been hyping this up for 5 months. Someone has started a facebook page for people that want to sign up. People have started a new trend saying #they cant stop us all.  Watch the news to see what happens.

Cleaning the pond

Yesterday me, Cruz Deklan and  Luke started to clean the pond for whitebait season. When we were cleaning the pond we came across some big water spiders and we freaked out but then we got used to the spiders so kept doing what we were doing and overcame our fear of the spiders.  Once te pond is ready we will put baby whitebait in there and when they get bigger we will release them at the Cobden Lagoon for breeding.
