House Prices

 The avergae house price in Auckland is $780.000.  In other parts of New Zealand the avergae house goes for like 597.000 thousand  which is a lot cheaper than auckland. Greymouth the average house price is only $255,000.  Auckland is one of the world’s most overvalued cities for real estate.  I wonder how people can even afford to buy a house in Auckland when they cost so much!

Shake Out Day

On Thursday it was Shake Out day and we pretended that it was a earthquke and tsunami.  First we had to pretend there was an earthquake.  We went under the tables and covered our head.  Then we had to evacuate in case of a tsunami.  We went across the road and up the hill. I think that the drill went well and we will know what to do when it happens.

Persuavie writing

This week we have been doing persuavie writing to go over it because
we have a test next week. I think it was easy and I liked the task
because I like writing. Here is my writing...

I strongly believe that Dogs make better pets than cats

Firstly I think that dogs are better than cats because Dogs have a purpose such as pig dogs, hunting dogs, duck hunting dogs and deer hunting. Dogs can get you meat and food while cats only eat food, sleep and kill birds.  Also dogs can save you money by catching a pig or something else.

Secondly you can train your dog to be a guide dog which can protect you from getting robbed or other things which cats can't do.

Thirdly the only things cats are good for is killing mice and keeping you company. Dogs however can do both of those things as well as get you all this meat and food, they can save you money just going up in the bush for an 1 hour or 2 and they can help you get exercise.

This is why I strongly believe that dogs are better than cats.
