House Prices

The avergae house price in Auckland is $780.000.  In other parts of New Zealand the avergae house goes for like 597.000 thousand  which is a lot cheaper than auckland. Greymouth the average house price is only $255,000.  Auckland is one of the world’s most overvalued cities for real estate.  I wonder how people can even afford to buy a house in Auckland when they cost so much!

  1. Hello Harris! My name is Mia from Yaldhurst Model School. Awesome fact finding! I also liked the way you have added your thoughts and a picture to go alongside your blog.

$780,000 is a lot and I hear about Auckland and how their house prices are quite high on the news. I don't think this is very fair, do you agree?

Just a tip! Make sure when you write Auckland or any other country or city name, that they have a capital letter! Everything else is good!

    Spectacular work!

  2. Kia ora Harris. I like how you are comparing Auckland prices against the national average, and against Greymouth prices - this puts your points in context. My question is: what causes the prices to be so different? Surely a house in Auckland is pretty similar to a house in Greymouth. What makes the difference? Keep up the great work! Ngā mihi, Mr Hanson (Greymouth High School)
