Cleaning the pond

Yesterday me, Cruz Deklan and  Luke started to clean the pond for whitebait season. When we were cleaning the pond we came across some big water spiders and we freaked out but then we got used to the spiders so kept doing what we were doing and overcame our fear of the spiders.  Once te pond is ready we will put baby whitebait in there and when they get bigger we will release them at the Cobden Lagoon for breeding.

My speech

This term I did my speech about skateboarding. Here is my presentation. I started skateboarding last October. Over that time me and my friends have taking some big slams. Skateboarding is really fun because you get to go outside and skate streets with your friends and learn new tricks.

Math Art

This week for maths we had to choose a mathematical art topics and complete 2 tasks.  The first task was to investigate the maths behind the art to make a DLO to teach others.  Then we had to create our own math art.  Here is my art and my DLO.  I found this task easy and fun to do.

Pest Invasion

This week in reading we have been deciding if possums are pests or they are not. In my opinion they are not a pest because they are fun to trap.  I also and that we should not 1080 them.
