Shantytown

Yesterday M2 went to Shanty Town. It was fun because we got to see how George Dobson got killed.  We played a court case that was fun and we also got robbed. We had to investigate the crime scene and we did a lot of other things.  Here are some photos.

Literacy Reflection

This week in Literacy we did a piece of writing on a family member and I did it on my Grandad. We had to tell you what he looked like. It was hard but easy.  My goal was to include more detail in my writing.

Literacy Reflection Term 2 Week 7

This week m1 Literacy did writing on Miss Reissman. I  liked it but it was hard because you had to think really hard of what you were going to write to describe her. 

Cross country

3 days ago we had cross country it was good because I did not get puffed that much so that was amazing we had a new bit were you had to put your feet in all 6 tyres but some people did not they just went straight through.

This week for word work i made a slide to put all of my word work into so the teacher can go through all of my work in 1 minuet.

This week for numeracy we did a place value work. I liked this activity because i new how to do it so i got it completed fast. I learnt how to do what it means and how to get them right.

This week for literacy we did a piece of writing on Shantytown with a friend. We had to write why it opened and who opened it. I learnt
that a group of scientist opened Shantytown. I also learnt how to write a introduction using the 5 w's.

I have bean reading 501 joke book and It haves  some really funny jokes In there I give this book a 5 out of 10 rating because some you couldn't under stand but some you could I would rate this book for 9 10 11 year old

week 1 reflection 2017

This week Andrew came to Mamaku Hub. He taught us all about electronics and it was cool. He gave us a led light and we put it in a circuit board. Then the L.E.D lit up. Here is a pic of one working. I really enjoy doing it was super cool.
